About the Petaluma History Room
Built upon the collections and knowledge of local historians Ed Mannion and Ed Fratini, the Petaluma History Room houses books, manuscripts, newspapers, images, maps, clippings, yearbooks, City of Petaluma municipal records, and more.
Docents
Do you like history? Sign up to become a Petaluma History Room docent! Duties vary but can include organizing historical papers, clippings files, and more. Are you a junior or high school student interested in history? Join us as a junior docent and help us build exhibits and devise fun activities for kids and others to enjoy.
