About Rincon Valley Library

The Rincon Valley Regional Library building is owned by the City of Santa Rosa. The city’s 1962 General Plan called for a new central library downtown, and branches in the northwest, southwest, and eastern sectors of Santa Rosa.

The Rincon Valley Regional Library has served the northeastern Santa Rosa communities of Rincon Valley, Bennett Valley, and Oakmont since 1994. Construction of the library was jointly funded by the City of Santa Rosa and California state grant funds awarded in 1991.

Built on a parcel of land formerly owned by the Santa Rosa School District, the Rincon Valley Library is next door neighbor to the Rincon Valley Community Park and Maria Carrillo High School.
