Friends of the Windsor Library

About

The Friends of the Windsor Library exists to support the Windsor Regional Library. The Friends sponsor programs and provide funding for materials, supplies, and furnishings.

The financial assistance the Friends of the Windsor Library provides is made possible by library patrons who donate to and purchase materials from the book cart in the library lobby. The book cart is open all library hours and is stocked by volunteers.

All proceeds will be used to support the Windsor Regional Library. Please join us at the summer farmers’ market.

Year-Round Book Sales

The book cart is in the library lobby and is open all hours the library is open. At this time, we can only accept cash or checks made out to Friends of the Windsor Library. Change is available at the library service desk.

In addition to the book cart, we have once-a-month book sales during the summer at the Windsor Certified Farmers' Market. The hours are 10 am-1 pm. Check with the library for upcoming dates.

Newsletters

Copies of the current newsletter are available in the Windsor Library.

Book and Media Donations

The Friends of the Windsor Library accept donations during library open hours. Donations are limited to 3 boxes (banker’s box-sized) per person, per day. Donations will not be accepted if the sorting area is full.

The following donations are welcome:

• Paperback and hardbound books in “good” to “like new” condition
• Audiobooks
• CDs
• DVDs
• Complete jigsaw puzzles
• Recent magazines
• Cooking magazines

Please do not donate:

• Encyclopedias of any kind
• VHS tapes
• Cassette tapes
• Old magazines (except cooking magazines)
• Books that are worn
