About Kanopy
Kanopy is a streaming movie collection that showcases more than 30,000 of the world’s best, classic, and groundbreaking films. Includes access to the Criterion Collection, award-winning documentaries, film festival favorites, and foreign films.
Lending Limits: 18 tickets per month and unlimited access to Kanopy Kids. The ticket amount resets on the first of the month.
Lending time period: 72 hours of unlimited views of the selected video. (Note: MGM and Warner Brothers Films have a 48 hour viewing period.) 21 days access to Great Courses checkouts
Getting Started
- Have your library card ready (Don't have one? No problem! Get a Library Card)
- Click on the GO button above
- Create an account if you don't have one (you will need a valid email address)
- Look for the verification email in your inbox (check your spam folder if you don't see it)
- Once your account is verified log in to sonomalibrary.kanopy.com
- Choose a movie and enter your library card number and pin when prompted
